On June 1, 2008, the State Council issued a "plastic limit order", which said a nationwide ban on the production, sale and using of ultra-thin plastic shopping bags. As plastic shopping bags are used to people, how to solve the problem of carrying after the "plastic limit order" become the most important problem which focus people’s attention. After the "plastic limit order" is issued, all kinds of alternatives to plastic bags come out, in which non-woven bags become the most popular reusable shopping bags, as it has fashion element of environmental protection, together with its durable 、folding、portable advantages. And it even set off a wave of investment in non-woven industry. At the same time, due to the short comings of non-woven bags, for example, their high costs, as well as consumers’ psychological dependence on plastic bags, there are a lot of problems when promoting non-woven bags.
Whether the non-woven bag is the best alternative to the plastic bag or not, is it suitable for investment, and how about its prospects .these problems have become hot topic for media and public. In this paper, I will make the non-woven bags as an example to analyze the prospects for the development of non-woven industry under the "Plastic limit order".
