ABSTRACT
As an inevitable phenomenon in the field of second language acquisition, language transfer has become a controversial topic in this field. Typical examples will be carefully selected and analyzed to prove that first language transfer has an impact on verbal lexical collocation. Finally, the author tries to give some proposals based on a combination of her English learning experience and research.
