The Metamorphosis is one of the classical works written by the outstanding writer Franz Kafka. In this novel, the writer makes a description of the fantastic and ridiculous story about the protagonist, Gregor Samsa, who transformed from a human into a gigantic insect and died in despair.
The thesis, centering on the writer Franz Kafka and his novel The Metamorphosis, firstly, makes a detailed analysis and comparison between Kafka and his protagonist, Gregor Samsa, including their mental psychology and character; secondly, the thesis makes an emphasis on the family influence on molding their character; at last, the thesis, based on the definition of children’s healthy psychology, makes an illustration about the family influence on molding children’s healthy psychology. Moreover, the thesis makes some suggestions about preventing children’s mental psychology and promoting children’s healthy psychology.
