On condition that economic globalization and transition, with the increasingly fierce market competition, the logistics industry is faced with a growing crisis in the business. Storage is an important part of logistics and supply chain. The entire logistics system design is based on it. The storage is where the goods stay longest and cost most. The storage is the intermediate links between the suppliers and consumers which plays the role of buffer and balance. The planning of storage will be a direct impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of whole logistics system.
Generally speaking, there are two ways in warehouse design: one is the analytical method, and the other is simulation. Storage systems have a large number of random factors which are uncertainty. And the relationship between variables is very complicated. So using the analytical method can not be a good modeling and analysis. System simulation is considered to be an effective means which deal with the complicated random variables of storage systems. This is the reason why this text using the method of simulation analysis.
In this paper, there are the basic theory of optimizing the Logistics, including ABC analysis, warehouse layout planning and technique of simulation. First, get the data of ChangYun’s wine warehouse. Then use the ABC Analysis for goods and planning the layout of the wine warehouses. Finally, use the simulation Flexsim research and analysis. Our goal is to optimize storage project and improve the efficiency of warehousing operations.
