Optimization of Okra Polysaccharide by water extraction
Abstract: This article use Okra fruit pods as raw materials, processed into freeze-dried powder, using water extraction methods, by phenol sulfuric acid method for measurement of the absorbance of the sample solution was centrifuged, in order to determine okra polysaccharide content of freeze-dried powder. First of all, to carry out single factor experiments were provided by the water temperature, extraction time and ratio of water extraction of three factors are the impact on the polysaccharide. Then use orthogonal experimental method, by changing the extraction time, water extraction temperature, and the ratio to get the water extract the best experimental conditions for okra polysaccharide. Of water extraction by okra polysaccharide optimal experimental conditions: water extraction time of 4 hours, water extraction temperature 50℃, the ratio of water (freeze-dried powder: water) 1:20. According to experimental results, the more the number of water extraction, and the higher the yield of okra polysaccharide.
