Title:The synthesis of dicyclopentadiene-phenol epoxy resin
Abstract
The dicyclopentadiene-phenol resin is prepared via Frededel-crafts reaction, dicyclopentadiene phenol as raw materials, p-toluenesulfonic acid as catalyst. it is glycidycized at basic condition, So dicyclopentadiene-phenlo epoxy resin is prepared. The molar ratio of raw materials, the temperation of alkylation reaction, the select of catalyst, epoxy value, viscosity and chlorine contend are investigated, and the appropriate reaction conditions were confirmed. In the preparation process of dicyclopentadiene-phenol resin, the ratio of phenol to dicyclopentadiend is 4 to 1, and the catalyst to the raw materials is 1.8wt%, the reaction temperature is 100℃, and the reaction time is 4h. In the preparation process of dicyclopentadiene-phenol epoxy resin to epichlorohyarin is 4:1(mol/mol), epoxy value is 0.35eq, and organic chlorine content was less than 0.02mol/100g.
