Title: Extraction of Volatile Oil from Rhizoma curcumae-sediment by accelerated solvent extraction and determination by gas chromatography -mass spectrometry
Abstract
In this paper, accelerated solvent extraction (ASE100) method has been used to extract Volatile Oil from Rhizoma curcumae and the main compounds of volatile oil were identified by GC-MS. Single factor experiment has been done to find out the infection of ASE of volatile oil from rhizoma curcumae via solvent, temperature, static period and cycles . Operational parameters were optimized using ethylacetate as the extraction solvent, a temperature of 80℃, a static period of 6 min, two cycles. The GC-MS conditions were as fellows: 1 ul extraction was analysed by GC-MS respectively, the column temperature was maintained at 60 for 2min and increased to 290℃,the scanning range was from m/z 50 to m/z 500(scanning interval:0.5s),and the compounds were identified by searching NIST and Wiley registry of mass spectral data . With the methods of optimized ASE combined with GC-MS,the Volatile Oil from Rhizoma curcumae was extracted and identified rapidly. The method is obviously better than other traditional extraction methods.
