With activated carbon supported nano-copper oxide as catalyst catalytic degradation of organophosphorus pesticide-chlorpyrifos standard.Consider the amount of catalyst, UV light irradiation time, pH of the solution and the solution initial concentration on the degradation of organophosphorus pesticide. Experimental results show that the amount of catalyst, UV light irradiation time, pH of the solution and the solution initial concentration on the degradation of organophosphorus pesticide efficiency have a certain influence. Comprehensive consideration, when the amount of catalyst is 1.0g, UV light time is 5h, the solution of the initial concentration of organophosphorus pesticide is 40 μg/mL and pH of the solution is 8, the highest rate of degradation can reach to be 64.06%.
