Nowadays, small and medium-sized family businesses are a sector that can not be overseen in the system of non-public economy of mainland China. Especially in the market driven economy that China had been applied since it opens its market. However, these enterprises are often short lived, or the development of poor quality. The main reason for the brain drain problem is that the family business owners’ inadequate human resources management. This paper is intended to use the modern human resources management ideas and methods to solve the brain drain problem. This article including six parts: the first part is that introduce the thesis expounded、 the background purposes、 the research status and research methods. The second part described some of the family enterprises definition and development, and then introduces the initial case of the status. The third parts are that introduce about some modern human resources concepts and definitions, and the family enterprise in human resources management and the status of human resources management significance. Part fourth introduced the status of the family business brain drain. Through the analysis of the staff separation cases, that work out that the company have serious brain drain problem. In the fifth part is that we analysis from the staff and the business, to find out that why the company have brain drain problems. In the sixth part of the previous analysis, we consider to use the modern human resources management methods to solve the case of the brain drain problem.
