Abstract
With the rapid development of economy, the information work of clothing stores are also carrying on in full swing. In recent years, clothing stores have developed rapidly in major cities, and the competition has tended to be intense. The previous manual methods cannot meet the need of the rapid development of clothing stores. This requires efforts in the management of clothing stores, establishing a clothing stores management system to promote the long-term development. At the present day ，computer science and technology are developing increasely, use the advanced computer technology to manage all kinds of information and data in daily work, can greatly improve the efficiency of the clothing stores.
This system，the management information system of sales was developed for the development needs of clothing stores. Based on the description of the background of clothing management system analysis, requirements analysis, feasibility analysis and functional design, data dictionary design and implementation of system function module，this paper investigated the achievement of the Management Information System for Clothing Stores Sales. This system was achieved by a combination of PowerBuilder9.0 and SQL statements with systems management, customer management, merchandise management, sales management, inventory management, procurement management and financial management of the seven features。It provided a information platform for the clothing stores，improved the efficiency and management quality, and decreased the errors caused by manual operation to the maximum.
