Slitter is an important equipment for plastic film, constricting is one of the most
important part of the whole workflow, and the design for the constricting driving
system has a direct impact on the slitting quality and efficiency, and the tension
caused by the speed difference between the constricting axis and the driving rollers is
critical to the quality of slitting and constricting According to the requirements of
tension and the speed of the BOPP material, the belt pulley and the axis in the
constricting driving system is calculated and designed in details, and their drawings
are protracted. The constricting driving system is also three-dimensional modeled and
assembled by SolidWorks, after the required constraint is given, the transmission-
driven simulation of the constricting driving course is completed. The result of
motion simulation shows the design of institutions is rational and the operation is
reliable.
