Woman·Well·Goddess——on the historical image of Lǜzhu from Guangxi
Abstract
Historical images of Lǜzhu,has approximately experienced a evolution of beauty, talented woman,martyred woman,disaster woman and holy woman.In the traditional aesthetics, her image of beauty has a everlasting history .afterwards,in the influence of confucian conception—woman’s virtue of ignorance,her image of talent has faded away and was replaced by image of beauty;and then with the penetration of Neo-conficianism in the Song Dynasty,posterities figured out the image of martyred woman for their own needs.As the conception of disaster of woman prevailed, Lǜzhu’s historical image had been fabricated again into disaster woman.With her personal image being changed,the well she used also had encountered the corresponding treatment and experienced a chain change of love,level up and dredge up.Because of her personal charming ,the folk group had made her deiform to a image of holy woman.The images of beauty and talent were original images,the other images were simulated outcomes of dynasty conceptions.This paper tries, from the research of Lǜzhu’s historical image,to see the evolution of time spiritual conception.
