The Xiang-shan Temple in Quanzhou and the Religionary Culture of Xiang-gui Boundary
Abstract
The Xiang-shan temple located at the Xiang-gui boundary of Guangxi Quanzhou. It was started by Shi quan-zhen who from Hunan nationality. It has been known as the elegant name “Chu-Na first to check”. It is the big Buddhist temple in Guangxi even the entire south area. The Xiang-shan temple has gone through hundreds of years and cultivated polyonymous of hierarches. There are many literators and poets have kept back their tracks. Therefore, the xiang-shan temple has formed a sort of profound religionary culture which influences the entire Xiang-gui boundary. Up to the present, the temple fair of Xiang-shan temple is a piece of royal work all the same in Xiang-gui boundary.
