Title: Thermal power plant DCS system's design
ABSTRACT
The structure of DCS is a distributed system which essentially is a novel control technology to monitor,operate and manage the production process in a centralized way and at the same time control the production process in a distributed way.DCS is established with the development of computer technology,signal process technology,measurement and control technology,communication network technology and human machine interface technology.Now,the DCS is developed to be the mainstream of automation control device for industrial production process.
This paper is a design and implementation for thermal power plant DCS.This system achieves the effective monitor and control boiler,stream turbine and generator operation of thermal power plant basically through the following functionalities.It includes acquitting analoy input signal and digital input signal by data acquisition system(DAS);controlling the parameters,such as water level,stream temperature,stream pressure by modulate control system(MCS);controlling the start-halt and mutual-lock of auxiliary machines and their devices by sequence control system(SCS);executing the turbine protective function by turbine tripping system(ETS);and executing the boiler protective function by main fuel tripping system(MFT).
In the paper firstly the basic functions and key technologies of HOLLiAS-MACSV DCS system of Hangzhou Hollysys Inc is studied.The secondly selecting the hardware and system configuration are finished for Weiqiao thermal power plant generator unit based on MACSV DCS system.inally the MCS control configuration for the water level monitoring of steam box,the SCS control configuration for hydro pump monitoring and ETS configuration for trip protection of.steam turbine are implemented by control configuration.By this way,the overall DCS control functions are completed on Weiqiao thermal power plant steam turbine generator by the Hangzhou Hollysys system.
The practical application verified that the thermal power plant DCS control configuration design and implementation can ensure the reliable and safety operation of thermal power plant.
