An Analysis of the Salary Package Incentive Systems in the
Human Resource Management
Abstract:In the period of knowledge-based economy, especially after China’s access to WTO, human resources have been the primary resource for the development of economy and society, and the international competition has turned to the competition of the quality of human resources, as well as the competition of how to make use of human resources reasonably. For an enterprise if it wants to survive in the competitive market, it must continuously produce competitive products and provide satisfactory service for the consumer. Therefore, on the one hand, all the staff should try their best to make contribution to their enterprise; on the other hand, the manager of the enterprise should take staff as the first place, fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the staff, and work well in the deployment of human resources. Then how to mobilize the enthusiasm of the staff, which is a very important problem in the management of human resources.
The thesis applies the science of management and the theory of the development of human resources, focusing on the discussion on the establishment of salary incentive system in the management of human resources. First, the thesis makes a general statement on the contents and function of human resources, then introduces the theory of salary incentive system, including two parts: salary theory and salary system theory. Then it makes a detail analysis on the salary incentive system in the management of human resources, and emphasizes the necessity to strengthen the salary incentive system as well as some related items need to pay attention; In the last part it puts forward proposals for the establishment of scientific and rational salary incentive system to achieve “win-win” purpose, through the analysis of how to establish the examination system on the achievement, and the fair and competitive salary system, as well as by the further study of connecting the salary with achievement, meeting the needs of rank order on paying salary, designing the welfare items fitting for staff.
