Abstract
Steering Gear (often known as the Steering machine) is not only a group of gears which is used to complete the change from rotation to linear motion (or similar linear motion), but also the slowdown of the transmission device. Automotive steering gear on the structure and design parameters affect not only the reliability and durability of the car, but also on the performance of motor vehicles such as the driving force of economic performance if there is the ability of the economy, ride through, mobility and manipulation with a direct impact. In my article, I expound the major shift of the form and structure, function, design requirements and the adoption of the P2402 gear and rack steering gear works, type, choose the structure of the various components of the parameters and materials, use Solidworks2007 to do the P2402 steering gear rack, Shell and other parts and all part for three-dimensional modeling, and its strength checking and so on. Through this design, I will master the basic rack and pinion steering gear design ideas and methods for the design in the future and independently lay a solid foundation for steering gear.
