Abstract
This paper introduces the way to the auto cover's reverse processing and error analysis. In the first we treat the original data in reverse software RE-SOFT and in software UG dealt with the auto cover data which is used surface modeling, assembly, finally we reached the three-dimensional surface model of the auto cover. Through the production’s Reverse Engineering that will reduce the cycle of the product design and enhance the efficiency.With the development of market economy, the reverse engineering of products or components has attracted wide attention. In view of the development of the status quo, the article raised the research methods of the reverse engineering, after the digestion and absorption the advanced technologies, accurate grasp of such products the key technologies of reverse, creating a higher economic efficiency ultimately. Introduct the basic concepts of reverse engineering , applications and technical status quo, and gives a vehicle application examples of the reverse engineering technology in the field .
