Abstract
This paper summarizes the research and development of CW laser glazing.As the amorphous metal has a crystalline difficult to achieve high strength, high toughness, high permeability and high corrosion resistance and so on, with high-energy laser beam directly on the metal surface rapid heating, the metal body to rely on the rapid heat conduction cooling and to obtain non - layer has been a source of a wide range of research attention. But so far unable to make the advantages of laser amorphization to play an important role. In this paper, 40Gr as a matrix material coating the surface of the laser.In this work, FeMoYB BMGs have been developed.It is found that a fully amorphous FeMoYB cylindrical rod with 6.5mm in diameter can be prepared by copper mold injection.These alloys have a high glass transition.
