Abstract
Hydraulic roll gap control technology is one of the key techniques used in modern rolling mill, the effect of which has impact influence on the accuracy of the product. Studying hydraulic roll gap control system has important theoretical and practical significance. Digested and assimilated part of equipment and technology introduced by cold rolling sheet plant of Benxi iron and steel company and analyzed eccentricity compensation. Structure model of the whole hydraulic gap control system was established. Hydraulic screw down system is the most important part of hydraulic roll gap control. Researched on hydraulic screw down system of a cold rolling sheet plant, established mathematical models of every part of hydraulic screw down under position control and control it by BP neural network firstly. Improve dynamic characteristics of the system. A foundation laid down for optimum design of the system and research on the capability of the control system.
