The Women's Movement in The Area of Yulin in Times of The War against Japan
Abstract
Wuhan and Guangzhou were all falling to enemy occupation in October，1938．Soon after，the Japanese imperialist attacked the coastal of Guangdong，Beihai and the border of Guangxi from the south．Guangxi was on the line．Confronted with the perilous situation of country conquered and family ruined，the underground Party of Chinese Communist actively leaded and created a broad national united front in Guangxi，meanwhile publicized and launched the great and small into the national salvation movement．The people carried on positive resistance in the area of Yulin including Yulin County，Beiliu County，Luchuan County，Bobai Couty，Rong County and so on，especially the vast women playing an important role in supporting the army，helping the frontline ，joining the military，joining the battle and so on，they made indelible contribitions for the war against Japan．The article mainly explores the influence and significance of the women's movement in the area of Yulin in the period of resistance against Japan from its background of rising and performance of development ．
