Huatong Auto Service Company established in 2002, is a small company in Hengdian Dongyang. For many factors, the company has been gone through poor economic benefits, weak management infrastructure and poor service since it's establishment. As China's automotive service industry gradually is becoming matures, the competition is more and more intense. And the company is in a very difficult situation, both internal and external. Its Management faced a very serious situation.
The purpose of this paper is to research on the lean management and service operations management, explore the implementation of lean management in the company's ideas and methods, which combined with the characteristics of automotive service industry and the company's actual situation. The adoption of lean management enables companies to reduce costs, to improve service quality, and to reverse the severe operating situations. And finally form culture of lean enterprise, cultivating core competitiveness of enterprises.
This paper introduced the lean management and service operation and management of the relevant theoretical knowledge, and described the basic situation of the company. Moreover, it assessed the status of the operation and management of the company, with an analysis of the necessity and feasibility in implementing lean management. This article described the implementation of lean management particularly, and analyzed the company's business processes. From the reality of the company, it has developed to implement the overall objectives of lean management and business process optimization principles.
