The recycling process of tetrapak
Abstract
This paper describes the structure, history and development, recycling of the tetrapak. It sums up two existing channels for recovery: the first is process directly, the second is separate for processing, then obtain various types of pure substances. It presents a new technology for recycling tetrapak: adopts acetic acid as the separation reagents and makes investigation for separating of tetrapak. It reviews the effect owing to the concentration, temperature, soak time, solid-liquid ratio and mixing effects. The results show that while the concentration of acetic acid is 50 percent, liquid-solid ratio is 15:1, two hours of soaking under the normal temperature and put it in the heated water which at 80 degrees Celsius temperature and then heat up for 1.2 hours, the tetrapak can be separated mostly. Place the separated composite layer of paper in the clean water and mix up, then, the layer can achieve complete separation at once and the separation degree up to 90 percent. This article also discussed the separation process of the aluminum-plastic blister packaging material.
