The research about Patterns of distribution of copper contaminated soil and the effectiveness of biological
Abstract: In this paper, the sequential extraction and single extraction methods were used to investigate copper distribution and bioavailablility in the copper-polluted soil with gradient copper content near the smelter in Fuyang City of Zhejiang Province. The results show soil copper mainly exist in the adsorbed and fulvic complexes with high bioavailablility. Multiple regression analysis shows copper-fulvic complexes was significantly related to copper- bioavailable forms (EDTA-Cu, DPTA- Cu and CaCl2 - Cu ). Therefore, copper-fulvic complexes also have a strong bioavailability and can be used to predicte the environmental risk of copper contaminated soil.
