This graduation design mainly is to manufacture a multi-purpose digital clock through using the AT89S51 MCU. In order to study and design a MCS-51 system. The mainly purpose is to study and applicant the MCS-51's timer and the interrupt, Thus to improve my design of the software and hardware.
Single Chip Microprocessor is one of the most important of the embedded system, It is also an important branch of the computer. In the computer, the IC which contains the logic unit and controller is called CPU(Central Processor Unit).but in order to reduce the area of the PCB board. Enhanced the system reliability. put the input and the output interface electric circuit、the clock electric circuit and the memory, the logic unit and the controller integration in a CPU chip, then the single chip is became the Micro Controller Unit(we can also call it as a Micro Processor Unit).the MCU is not a IC that completes some logical function, it integrates a whole computer system on the chip. Summary Speaking; A MCU is a small computer. it has small volume, light weight, and its price is cheap. all these has provided the convenient condition for the study, the application and the development. At the same time, the study of using the MCU is the best choice of understanding the computer principle and the structure. And the MCS-51 is one of the most typical and the representation MCU.
This digital clock of the graduation design is designed for the digital camera which is produced by the (hang Zhou) D-MAX electronic LTD. And I take part in the design and debug of the product.
