Title: Clinical analysis of cesarean section rate increased and Countermeasures
ABSTRACT
Objective: To explore the causes for rise of cesarean section and its countermeasure. Methods: Two thousand seven hundred and thirty-three lying-in women with cesarean section in Changle People’s Hospital from 2006 to 2008 were retrospectively summarized in the change of indiction, the causes for rise of cesarean section in order to decrease the rate of cesarean section. Results: The rate of cesarean section was 47.18﹪in 2006,53.21﹪in 2007 and 56.84﹪in 2008.The average rate was 52.28﹪.The main causes to lead to cesarean section were fetal distress(21.41﹪),social factors(19.76﹪),umbilical cord around neck(90.7﹪), pelvic presentation (8.56﹪), fetal macrosomia (6.95﹪), preeclampsia(5.27﹪), cicatricialuteras(5.01﹪), anomaly of pelvis(4.98﹪), relative cephalopelvic disproportion(4.90﹪). Conclusions: The rise of cesarean section was caused by kinds of factors and social factors were the main ones. With the effect of doctors and pregnant women and community, appropriate management of indications cesarean section can effectively reduce the rate of cesarean section.
