Objective: To investigate patients with leukemia at an early stage the impact of the role of psychological care to two hospitals to provide convenient and simple, patients and their families are easy to accept the method of psychological care.
Methods: Selected 55 patients with leukemia, both from December 2009 to February 2010 Nuclear Industry 417 Hospital, a Division within the patient. 27 patients in control group given routine treatment and care; 28 cases observed in routine medical therapy based on targeted psychological care, and good family health education. All patients were assessed before and after treatment, fill in SCL-90 evaluation form to determine scores. Order to compare scores before and after, on data obtained chi-square test.
Results: 28 cases observed by the psychological guidance, scores were obviously higher than the control group, The total effective observation group than the control group, Significant difference between the two groups, with statistical significance (x2 = 6.06, p <0.05).
Conclusion: The two hospitals in leukemia patients, according to their family economic conditions, social and cultural practices, the hospital conditions, with corresponding psychological guidance simple and practical training, can significantly improve the mental capacity of patients and disease treatment and thus improving patient the daily life of adaptability.
