Title: Hospitalized children to explore the cultivation of habits
ABSTRACT
Objective Understand the patient's living habits in children with problems, hospitalized children and parents to explore quality of life, life satisfaction, social support of the relevant factors.
Methods Survey method used by the assessment of children with parents, children and parents to understand the factors that are most concerned about, the 79 hospitalized children with parents and 56 normal control group conducted a questionnaire survey, the survey targeted the lives of children with parents satisfaction, quality of life, social support.
Results Parents of hospitalized children to investigate the quality of life and its many areas are scored lower than the control group and the difference was significant (P <0. 05). Include: the psychological field of positive feelings, negative feelings, social relations of social support and life satisfaction, the source of the field of environment and leisure participation in recreational activities, as well as general health status and quality of life. Mental illness and children with parents in all aspects of the field of physiological, psychological field of thinking / learning / memory / attention and self-esteem, the independence of the field of drug dependence and medical instruments, the field of social relations, the field of environment and health care services social security, access to new information / knowledge / skills, as well as spiritual support / religious / personal beliefs of the field scoring the lowest of three groups, and differences with other groups and more significant (p <0.05).
Conclusions Disease in children with parents more than the area of quality of life, respect and status of life satisfaction were significantly decreased. The main influencing factors include: the parents worried about their children's level of expectations of the disease and understanding of the disease shame the strong or weak, children with a variety of hospital stay was supported by how much the affordability of treatment costs, the attitude of medical staff and on knowledge of disease, as well as the parents of their own mental health status. Therefore, the lives of hospitalized children cultivate the habit of impact should be to improve the quality of life factors, fundamental to adoption of a healthy lifestyle.
