Abstract
According to category of fuel, engines are classified with petrol engine and diesel engine. With more serious problems of energy shortage, its development of diesel engine has been the mainstream of modern engine. The performance of engine mostly depends on quality of cylinder head. The head is to airproof the top of cylinder, then form fuel storage cell with the top of piston and cylinder, meanwhile provide installation for other parts.
The thesis concentrates on studying cylinder head of engine. By researching on composition and function of different parts, it will be finished caculating and designing main parts of 4110 engine’s cylinder head. Firstly, It finishes total design of cylinder head from some aspects of basic size, gas channel, heat balance, bolts; Secondly, it takes examples of valve, valve stem guide, valve seat and valve spring to design from requirement of design, size of structure, choice of material; finally, deign needs optimization, meanwhile adopts AutoCAD technology, completes assembly drawing of cylinder head and all kinds of parts drawing.
