Abstract
In recent years, the rapid development of China's automobile industry, so the requirement to the quality of the automobile parts producion also increase. Vehicle piston as a key component, affects the dynamic performance and stability of vehicles. In a view of the inefficient and poor accuracy of the traditional manual measurement , it is important to design an automated detection machine of the piston shape measuring mechine.
The measuring machine is based on the coordinate measuring technique, and according to the measured parts- piston, the characteristics of size and structure, select the match fixture. It is mainly used for the shape parameters detection of automobile engine piston . It can measure the piston ring groove, cylindrical, pin holes and other parameters. With a fixed gantry frame structure, the bench can move along the Y axis ,and this structure facilitate loading and unloading pistons.
Combined with the requirement of the features of measuring machine, design matched a set of control operating system to achieve parameters of piston shape data collection, data processing and other functions. It’s a simple operation, intuitive and easy to understand.
The shape of Piston measuring machine is new type of piston quality testing equipment. It is a key measuring machine to control piston quality. It successfully solves the problem of how to check the parameters of piston. It makes a important practical significance to solving the problems brought by the manual measurement .
