The Test Project Design of Electric Control about Hybird Electric Vehicle
Abstract
Developing a test bench for evaluating motor drive performance of Electric Vehicle (EV) is one of important tasks of researching on motor and its drive system of Electric Vehicle, which is one of the nation's 863 projects. The development of the test bench includes hardware and software design.
This test bench relate to a reliable test bench of Hybird electric vehicle for drive system. This test bench include of mover, controller of mover, ISG mover, controller of motor, rechargeable battery, managerial system for battery BCM, dynamometer machine and upper controller. This design set forth about the test project design of electric control about Hybird Electric Vehicle. The test project design include of boards for digital information (Hardware) and control soft. Control soft is for output of control signal. Control software is mainly responsible for the output control signals, data for the digital-to-analog converter board to the motor controller control signal output and rotational speed, torque signals into the acquisition and transmission to the control software. Control software at the same time filtering the data and then displayed on the console panel.
The test bench for evaluating motor drive performance is different from traditional motor test bench. The characteristics of motor drive system have to be considered as well as drive conditions of EV. Accordingly, power and torque measurement tools in the hardware design must satisfy requirements of not only steady performance tests but also dynamic performance tests.
This test bench can simulate loads on motor shaft when EV is driving on the road and reproduce the process of starting, speed varying and braking. The technology level involved in this test bench has reached an advanced level in the field of EV motor test in China.
