As the global economy is deepening in integration today, intellectual property has become an important component part of international trade. But along with the tendency of international trade protectionism and the increasingly fierce international competition and other factors, intellectual property conflicts seriously between Sino-U.S. trade, particularly in the copyright disputes. After analyzing the laws factors of Sino-U.S. dispute about copyright since China entering into WTO in 2001, and expounding the status and weakness of China and the United States on copyright’s protection, it is stressed that both the United States and the Chinese government should be improved in several areas to resolve copyright disputes. The Chinese government should take some measures to develop effective laws and implement more effective judicial methods to protect the copyright. We should spare no effort to promote anti-piracy measures such as the Alliance to enforce the copyright protection, thus we can share a harmonious atmosphere in Sino-U.S. trade.
