Since the early 1990s, Guizhou has repeatedly assured the export of tobacco, also maintained long-term and stable trade cooperation with British Tobacco and American Tobacco. So far, Guizhou Tobacco has many advantages as domestic enterprises leading cigarette brand main ingredient and occupies national 2nd in the overseas sales volume. But since China's accession to the WTO, Guizhou tobacco export trade suffered technical barriers to trade certain specific provisions.
The thesis introduced the trade condition of Guizhou tobacco. Firstly, I expounded current condition of planting and export of Guizhou tobacco, and its effects for the economic development of Guizhou. Secondly, I found out the technical trade barrier of Guizhou tobacco, such as, relevant technical statute, detection of tobacco and farm chemical vestigial in productions, special requires of detection and production, etc. Then I analyzed the reasons of the technical trade barrier of Guizhou tobacco, like the reason of technical standards, the reason of planting and producing, the reason of packing, the reason of consciousness and so on. Last, I carried out some trains and suggestions to respond the technical trade barrier of Guizhou tobacco, such as, the formulation jobs how to enhance the standards of superior projects like the security evaluating system of the tobacco, the regular operation modes with the Entry-Exist Inspects Quarantine Office of Guizhou, improving the packing of the export of tobacco, brand marketing, etc.
