Analysis on the Features of

Formation and Semantics of the Net English

    摘要：词语作为语言要素中最重要的部分，是多变且不断发展的，英语词汇与其他语言相同，是一个新陈代谢的过程。随着信息时代的到来，科学技术的迅速发展也导致大量网络新词新义的涌现。而作为国际通用的英语也经历着“词汇大爆炸”的发展过程。网络语言不仅是网络文化的产物，也是网民们用来表达他们情感与生活的语言。回顾网络英语新词的发展历程，从网络聊天室走向了社会的各个领域，小小的新词正扮演着越来越重要的角色，也在悄无声息的改变着人们的生活。本文就网络英语新词的特点及构词方式进行分析。 从网络新词的起源谈起，旨在分析英语网络新词的特点以及对社会各个领域所带来的影响,展望其未来发展的前景。

Abstract: Vocabulary as the most important role of all the language elements, is fickle and developing. Similar to all the other languages, English vocabulary also undergoes the progress of metabolism. With the information age coming, the development of science and technology leads to the birth of a lot of cyber neologisms and new words in English---as the most commonly used language in the world, undergoing the course of the “Words Explosion” development. Meanwhile, network language is not only the production of internet culture, but also the language which netizen use it to impress their feelings. The understanding of network language can help us understand the net culture better. This thesis firstly introduce the cyber neologism from its origin to it’s present phase. Then analyzes the characteristics of cyber neologism and the change of all social areas, understands the development history of it and look into the distance of it .Helps people to understand and master the cyber new words of English.
