At present, society develops very quickly. But gradually, it cannot move on at the same speed. Therefore, it is necessary to find some new impetus for everyone. In this research, the author discovers the spirit of innovation and satisfaction of life of Robinson Crusoe from The Life and Surprising Adventures of Robinson Crusoe. Nowadays, the spirit of innovation is good for the college students and the teachers and students in high school. The satisfaction of life is a good philosophy of life for people to consider the relation between wealth and happiness.
