The Relationship Between Some Advanced English Reading Theories and English Fast-reading
Abstract: With the increasing cooperation between countries in the world, English is being used more and more widely. Reading English has became very good way of acquiring information and improving English level. For the purpose of improving English level, people have a need to apply the the English fast-reading skills to their reading activities. This paper first explores the influencing factors of the English Fast-reading Skills. And then it has a brief overview of the reading theories including of metacognition, schema theory and the chunk theory. At last, it makes appraisal of the reading skills used in fast reading.
