Barriers to the export of aquatic products in China and Countermeasures
ABSTRACT
As a great nation of fishery, China has produced the most aquatic products all over the world for 12 years continuously. And the aquatic products trade between China and other countries has deeply developed, which makes China the major country of aquatic products trade in the world. However, along with the development,China is also facing more and more challenges. Various kinds of trade barriers, especially technical barrier has been the main obstacles to Chinese fishery development.
The key element of this thesis will be divided into three parts. The first part is about the current situation of Chinese aquatic production and export. The second part will focus on the main trade barriers China has encountered and theirs’ negative impact to Chinese fishery. The last but not the least part is about suggestions of resolutions to the problems existed.
